These are unprecedented times and we all have a responsibility to consider not just ourselves but the people of our country and our local communities. We are having to make decisions and take actions which were unimaginable a few weeks ago, the most significant of which being that we have closed Churchwood Valley. We will re-open as soon as restrictions have been lifted and we feel it is safe to do so.
We are currently taking bookings for all dates on or after the 1st July (this date is subject to change based on the situation), with a £1 deposit payment required for holidays that begin in July 2020. For those of you that have a booking in place between now and 1st July, we are in the process of contacting you individually to discuss moving the booking to a later date – this will not need to be finalised at this time, and can be left open-ended (our preferred option if you can manage it) – or to cancel if necessary. From August, depending on the situation, we shall be taking bookings as normal.
Please understand that we are deeply saddened by having to take these drastic steps, but we are following Government guidelines, and the advice of our industry body (the BH&HPA) for the sake of our staff, our community and the country as a whole.
If you wish to discuss any of this further, please contact us via telephone or email.
Take care, stay safe and we’ll see you when the crisis is over.
John, Shirley and Tom Stansell and all the Churchwood Team
