These are unprecedented times and we all have a responsibility to consider not just ourselves but the people of our country and our local communities. We have made decisions and taken actions which were unimaginable at the start of the year, the most significant of which being that we closed Churchwood Valley in March, and we remain closed for the time being. We will re-open as soon as restrictions have been lifted and we feel it is safe to do so.
We are currently taking bookings for all dates on or after the 4th July (this date is subject to change based on the situation), with no payment required when booking a holiday that begins between July 4th and October 31st 2020. We are being entirely flexible with all bookings within this period and will not be taking any money for these (except for the £1 deposit required to enable customers to book on-line) until we are certain that we can honour the bookings.
For those that have a booking in place between now and 4th July, we have tried to contact you individually to discuss moving the booking to a later date – as discussed, this will not need to be finalised at this time and can be left open-ended (our preferred option if you can manage it) – or to cancel if necessary. If you have not heard from us or are unsure of the status of a booking please contact us via telephone, email or directly through the website.
With an uncertain future ahead, we are remaining primed to open the park when it is safe for us to do so; we will be following government guidelines and the advice of our industry body (the BH&HPA) for the sake of our staff, our customers, our community, and the country as a whole.
If you wish to discuss any of this further, please contact us via telephone or email.
Take care, stay safe and we’ll see you when the crisis is over.
John, Shirley and Tom Stansell and all the Churchwood Team
